  • Access Remotely, Anytime

Your teams can securely access and control any device, from TVs to smartphones, directly through a web browser. No VPN needed.

  • Cut Operational Costs

Avoid costly truck roll and long trips to the field with centralized remote actions: full UI interaction and device reboot.

  • Reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution)

Spot issues fast with the live mosaic view of all your streams, then dive into any device to operate the UI like a real viewer.

  • Collaborate on what matters

Secured multi-user access to clip recordings, detailed logs and KPIs, puts the right data in front of the right team, fast.

Ready to manually test your video services?

Fully personalized home

Create a personalized workspace in the REC dashboard, organize your devices:

  • By teams
  • By locations
  • By devices and app types

Easily search for specific devices, favorite the ones you use most, and customize the layout to match your operational workflow.

The REC adapts to your video monitoring and QA needs with real-time visibility on all your connected devices.

Mosaic View & NOC Display

The Mosaic view offers a multi-viewer interface, displaying each connected device as an individual live stream card.

This layout allows teams to efficiently monitor multiple services in real time, with the ability to customize views, level of information, and filter them by operational status.

Display up to 156 devices on 4K screens, perfect for large-scale monitoring and Network Operation Center (NOC) displays.

Multiple ways to take control and operate your test devices like a real user

  • Use the actual STB remote
  • Type out a channel name without having to remember its number
  • Smart Search AI: type text into REC and watch our AI navigate the STB keyboard to input it
  • Use voice control
  • Save sequences of remote codes with the macros

Collaborate and share control with team members

  • Multiple users can access the REC simultaneously to view device activity and video streams, ideal for teams working together in real time.
  • While only one user can operate a device at a time, the Request Control feature allows any team member to ask for access directly within the REC, no need to switch to chat or email. It’s all built-in for a smoother handoff.
  • Admins also have override capabilities to ensure operational continuity when needed.

Click, record, and share evidence of what you see

The Mosaic view offers a multi-viewer interface, displaying each connected device as an individual live stream card.

Debating if what you saw is true or not when other teams or partners can’t replicate the error can be frustrating and cumbersome.

With the REC's record button, simply click on any video stream in the Remote Eye Controller to save exactly what you see, then share it with teams or partners to resolve issues faster.

Shared recordings are perfect for teams to speak the same language and solve problems together. Stop arguing, start solving!

Frequently asked questions

  • Can Smart TVs be tested?

Yes, absolutely. Witbe supports testing on any smart TV, regardless of brand, model, or operating system. Our technology works without SDKs or emulators, replicating real user behavior to automate testing and monitoring across a wide range of Smart TVs.

Explore the full list of supported devices here: Supported Devices

  • What are the types of control protocols you integrate with?

Witbe supports a wide range of control protocols, including:
IR (Infrared) · BT (Bluetooth) · DAB (Device Automation Bus) · Touch · RF4CE · Voice

This multi-protocol integration ensures universal and reliable control across all types of devices. It also provides a smart fallback system if one protocol fails (e.g., Bluetooth interference), another can take over to maintain control and avoid test disruption.

  • Can multiple users access a device at the same time?

Yes. Multiple users can view the same device and video stream simultaneously through the REC interface.
However, only one user can actively control the device at a time to prevent conflicts.

If another team member needs control, they can use the built-in Request Control feature to easily ask for access: no need to switch platforms or send a message elsewhere.

  • Is it possible to control more than one device simultaneously?

At the moment, each user can control one device at a time in the REC. However, multi-device control is coming very soon! This upcoming feature will allow advanced users to manage several devices in parallel. Perfect for intensive testing scenarios.

In the meantime, multiple users can control different devices in parallel, enabling full team collaboration. Stay tuned for updates, or reach out if you'd like to be notified when it’s available.

  • Can I access details on my team’s usage habits?

Yes. All usage data is accessible through Smartgate, Witbe’s observability platform, where you can view a multi-level report, such as device usage, testing sessions, and control handovers; customize dashboards, and track trends over time.

These insights help you monitor collaboration patterns, identify bottlenecks, or unused devices and optimize workflows.

  • Can I automate my manual testing?

Yes. Witbe lets you automate your manual testing with AI-powered scenarios that replicate real user behavior. Our platform includes a library of ready-to-deploy test cases (built on years of video testing expertise) for common use cases like live channel monitoring, VoD playback, app navigation, and more.

You can schedule tests, trigger them based on events, and receive real-time alerts; all without writing a single line of code.

  • How does Witbe's technology manage security, access control and SSO?

Witbe’s technology is designed with enterprise-grade security in mind. Access control is fully customizable through ACLs (Access Control Lists), allowing you to define user roles, permissions, and device access with precision.

We also support Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with standard identity providers, enabling secure, centralized user authentication and seamless login experiences.

All data transmissions are encrypted, and our architecture adheres to best practices in network and platform security to ensure your testing environment remains protected.
